About Us

We are a family of 6! Mum, Dad and four children (2 boys and 2 girls), aged 4 to 11. We began our camping journey back in 2018 after buying a large tent and wanting to save money on our adventures. With two boys aged 2 and 3 we started with a Coleman Oak Canyon 6 berth tent, with addtional front porch and carpet that we bought from Go Outdoors.

With 2 young boys in tow we began camping in the UK and loved every minute. Every trip made a new memory and we fell in love with the freedom camping gave us.

Roll on to 2020 the COVID pandemic took over as did our 3rd child, aged 1, we still camped but in our garden! 2022 saw the birth of our 4th child and a change of tent. We went to Go Outdoors to stock up on some essentials for the coming season and on the floor was a Hi-Gear Hampton 8dlx (8 berth) tent reduced to £200 as a ‘Manager Special’. We asked to have a look and the staff were happy for us to set up in their outdoor tent area. The label stated it had a rip…… We couldn’t find a rip so took a punt and saved a lot of money. We had already considered upgrading due to the growth in the family and here was the perfect opportunity!
